Summer Series 2021
Summer series was a series of FREE workshops featuring artists of renown from our corner of Saint Paul and the greater Twin Cities, shining a spotlight on artistic voices often underrepresented in mainstream media. Participants could learn fashion design from the nationally celebrated Samantha Rei, explore the art of paper with master paper cutter Damian Schaab, discover their unique artistic voice with macabre street artist and activist Divinewords, and dive into the world of costuming and cosplay with Brittany Frazier. Click through the gallery to learn about each artist.
Create & Cultivate
Three online art workshops, giving you new creative skills to use in the fight for social justice. DJing 101, Zine Making, and Spoken Word Poetry, taught by professional artists and community leaders. This activity was made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
Creating Community Freedom Project
This at-home creative project supplies community members with materials to explore the question “What does Freedom Mean to You?”
2020 Mural Projects
