What do you create?

Meets the Fourth Tuesday of every month!

Our Artist Membership Program supports local artists through providing a creative workspace in the neighborhood.

Benefits Include

Priority updates on opportunities and events at 825
“First in line” for opportunities at 825
Use of 825 Arts common space during public hours
A network of other local artists
Access to monthly artist membership meetings. At these, artists will:
- Enjoy food
- Connect with each other
- Learn about upcoming 825 programming
- Have opportunities for learning

In order to get involved, the membership program requires:

A $10/month membership fee
2 hours of volunteering every month
- This can be tabling at an event, helping with an art project, or any other volunteering help we may need.
It is also our goal that 25% of our members come from Ward 1

Join us July 12th for the GREAT GARDENS Competition, from 2-5pm. Builders will design and construct their best garden, whether a floating chinampa, a terraced mountain oasis, or a woodland hideaway all their own. Winners will receive a custom poster of their build, a place of honor in our newsletter, and a $20 prize! Attendees can expect a friendly and casual setting where they can enjoy a variety of performances, or even step up to the mic themselves and try something new! Sign up below :) See more details •	25	26 Mind your Beeswax Event 1-4 Mind your Beeswax Event 1-4 July 26, 2025 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm Artist member Matt Harren will be producing an art show for his work on NONE OF YOUR BEESWAX An event to make our own beeswax wraps using cotton fabric and beeswax. This reusable plastic wrap alternative can be used to cover bowls and Tupperware, or even to cover cut apples, onions, or other veggies and fruits. Anyone and everyone looking to learn a useful craft, hobby artists, at home cooks, and environmentally conscious people will all find something to love. This event promotes being creative using natural products, promotes sustainability in food and reducing reliance on plastics and fossil fuels. 1-4pm.
