About 825 Arts
Since 2009, our dedicated coalition of board members, volunteers, staff, representatives, small business owners, neighbors, and young artists have worked to realize this mission with the purchase and the renovation of the historic Victoria Theater at 825 University Ave into a community arts center for all of Frogtown and Rondo.

✨ Celebrate the creativity and brilliance of queer and trans youth at Queer, Trans, & Talented! This one-night showcase will feature artwork, live performances, and interactive activities that bring our community together in color, joy, and pride.
What to expect:
- Over 20 youth artists exhibiting their work
- Art for sale – take home something special
- Performances including singing, monologues, and lip sync
- Prizes for the most colorful outfit
- Concessions & refreshments (non-alcoholic)

Join us for our Birthday Party on August 25th from 4-7:30 pm. Over the last two years, we’ve been working hard to create an artistic, exciting collaborative home for Frogtown and Rondo, working across cultures, generations and passions. Our Youth Arts Leadership Team is looking for new members! If you’re between the ages of 14-21, and are interested in working with a team of other youth to imagine, plan, and execute a youth arts festival, along with other awesome programs, this is the opportunity for you.

Minecraft at 825 Arts
This by-kids-for-kids digital artspace is open every Saturday from 2-4pm! With freebuild, pvp, and guided activity space, plus seasonal competitions and SO MUCH MORE, you can build your dreams! Learn more on our Minecraft page.
I’m Just A Kid With Crayons
Join us at 825 Arts on July 21st, from 4 – 6PM, for I’m Just a Kid With Crayons by IAM.M.E. This is an all inclusive mini art show case celebrating the elementary state of life and a nurturing of the inner kid! Enjoy catering by Holistic Bae and a joyful space for art!
Asian Artist Celebration
August 16th from 2-6PM, we’re celebrating Asian artists within and beyond the neighborhood! Featuring speaker Patti Kameya, food from Chef Blong Vang, music by the Umamies, a puppetry workshop with Oanh Vu, and a panel with Tou Saik Lee and Mayda, it’s a full day of culture, laughter, and fun.

Frogtown Arts Festival 2026
This annual outdoor festival is taking over the block to celebrate the talents and cultures of Saint Paul’s Frogtown and Rondo neighborhood. Over 500 community members attend this event, which will be on September 19th 2026. Featuring arts from around the world, food trucks, and civic engagement opportunities, this event is free to attend for all of our community! Presented in collaboration with the Frogtown Neighborhood Association.
Tot Time!
Tot Time is back! From 10am-12pm every Tuesday, come to 825 Arts for a morning of learning, art, and fun with Mizz Mercedez and our fabulous Youth Arts Leadership Team!

Art-B-Q’s: Now Year Round!
No longer must you wait for summer, Art-B-Q’s are year round! From 6-8pm on the third Tuesday of every month, come to 825 Arts for free food, fun art, and community connection! The next Art-B-Q is November 18th.

Parking
Parking: Lot parking is available at Ryan Plumbing on the corner of Avon and University (811 University Ave W). Street parking is available on the surrounding blocks. Parking is available on University Avenue after 6PM. Accessible drop off is available at our neighbor, Demera, at 823 University Ave W.
